Currently you can buy branded computers in Sri Lanka with different operating system and capacity along with warranty, but at high cost. Take note it is against the law to use unauthorized software and Operating Systems in Sri Lanka. So when you are buying a new computer they must give you the serial product for the operating system installed in the computer or laptop. There is a shortage for Laptops and PC;s in Sri Lanka due to worldwide Corona Virus infection and to Sri Lanka's import ban to protects it foreign reserves. Also many service men too have problem in finding suitable spare parts for their customers' Laptops and Computers. Be little patient as the situation is improving and all the things are expected to move smoothly.Best time to buy computers in the USA is during Black Friday Sales time and during Christmas and New Year Holiday period. During these times people can get computers and Laptops at discounted prices. Still there is a shortage for computers in Sr Lank due to US Dollar shortage.
