Star Points in Sri Lanka can be enjoyed by the Dialog SIM card users along with some other online service users. Currently Star Points program is supported by more than 400 partner merchants and more than 20,000 partner outlets all over the island. This is based on the internet phone based loyalty network. People don't need to have any kind of registration or annual membership fee to get points from their payment benefits. All the Dialog Mobile customers can earn Star Points whenever they top up their phone account. A SMS will be sent to you with the accumulated bonus point every time you do money transfers through it.

How to Check Star Points Balance.
Call #141# and follow the instructions given to you..

Star Points had expired on 31st of December 2023.
Redeem it, purchase goods with it or donate it to affiliated charities before this date.
So purchase products using your Credit card till the last week of December to get more points in to your account.
Then you can redeem maximum benefits from the Star Points.

Star Point can be used for the following purposes.
Pay Dialog Bill Payment and Mobile reloads.
Spend it on your Supermarket bill payment.
Donate to charities like Little Hearts, HelpAge, My Friend, UNICEF and SOS Children.
Can Transfer Points to HSBC Rewards, Amex Rewards and FlySmiLes
Star Points - Special offers - from partner merchants.
Can Register to Star Points from any mobile carrier.

How to join the Star Points Program?
Dialog Mobile users will become as a member of Star Points scheme automatically.
Register for Branded loyalty cards such as Cargills Food City, DSI and Thilakawardhane Textile.
Simply sign in to www.starpoints.lk or use the Star Points App.

More Dialog Reload or purchase through Star Point partner business will provide you with more star points in to your account.

How to redeem your Star Points to Dialog Reload? (Your Star Points become cash in your Dialog mobile account)

Say if you have 155 star points you can get Dialog Mobile Reload for 55 Rupees as 100 Starpoints will remain in your account.
(To get Reload there need to be more than 100 Star Points in your account. Then only points over 100 can be redeemed.)
1. Use Dialog SMS to reload or pay to any charity or purchase with Star Point partners.
2. Check your Star Points Balance. Call #141# and follow the instructions.
3. Star Points to Dialog Reload. Type star pay and SMS it to 141.
Eg. To redeem 500 points as Dialog Reload, type one SMS as: star pay 500 and send it to 141.

Star Points are redeemable at a constant face value of Rs.1 per Point across the entire network.
The first 100 points can't be converted in to re-load. Only the excess of 100 can be used to top-up your mobile phone account.
For example if you have 120 points as balance, then you can get only 20 points.
You must cash your Star Points before its expiry date.

How to Reload Star points in to your Dialog mobile phone account?
Check your available star points: type star <space> points and SMS to 141.
If your Star points balance is more than 100 you can use it.
If your Star point is 120, then you can use 20 of its points to turn in to Rs 20/- phone reload.
Reloading Steps:
Dial #456# and see your new balance.
Create SMS. Type star pay 20 and SMS it to 141
Then dial #456# and see your new balance.
Eg. To redeem 500 points type star pay 500 and SMS to 141
1 Star Point = 1 Rupee

2. How to Redeem Star Points?

• You can request to redeem your Star Points at any partner Merchant.
• Give your mobile number to the merchant and tell the number of Points to be redeemed.
• You will receive an authentication code via SMS.
• Give the Authentication Code to your merchant to complete the transaction.
• You will receive a SMS receipt for the redemption.
• Check the details of your receipt and confirm with your merchant.
