Once again TRC requested to check your mobile phone SIM registration of the user. To do this you have to Dial #132#1# from your Dialog mobile to verify updated ownership details of the respective connection. Dial #132# or *132# from your Mobitel connection to check the user's Registration details. So check it and make sure it is under your name. In Sri Lanka it is an offence to use a SIM card that is registered under another person's name and NIC. Trc is main regulator for the Mobile phone usage Tariff.

As a sri Lanka mobile phone user time to time check with the TRC for any new announcement from them.

Here is a special announcement from the TRC for the general public in Sri Lanka.
All the unregistered mobile phones in Sri Lanka willbe blocked by TRCSL.
TRC of Sri Lanka has decided to block all the imported mobile phones that are not registered with the TRC.
This is to impose high security on the country’s' mobile phone system. So no Mobile phone can't be operated in Sri Lanka without a registered IMEI number.

TRC of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), has requested the public not to contact them directly if a mobile phone is phone lost or stolen.
Sri Lanka TRC will not investigate any of the lost or stolen mobile phones location or usage and will not record any complaints.
Any how they will provide necessary details during course of the police investigations. In Sri Lanka if anyone had lost her/his mobile phone must lodge a complaint immediately via the Police website. As per the IGP the complaint will be forwarded to the relevant police stations, Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) and respective mobile companies.

(In terms of Sections 58 and 59 of the Sri Lanka Telecommunication Act No 25 of 1991). It is your responsibility to use the freedom of speech only for wholesome communication.
